Rifat Pasha Idowu Kolawole, a native of Ilaro, Ogun State. He was born into the family of Alhaji Yahya AbdulSalaam in the late 1980s in Ejigbo, Lagos State.
He started his primary education in 1991 at the First Islamic English Foundation (FIEF) Okota, he proceeded to Jomade Hudiyyah College Idimu in the year 1993 where he completed his primary studies and started his secondary education.
In the year 1997, he went for his Qur’anic memorization course at Madrasat ul Tahfizul Qur’an, Ilaro. He completed his memorization in February 1999. He also had three consecutive revisions before furthering his education at Mahmud Ahmadiyya College, Ijede. He completed his secondary education in the year 2004 and again engaged in in-depth revision of the Holy Qur’an. He gained admission into Olabisi Onabanjo University in the year 2006 for his pre degree science where he finished as third best. He started his undergraduate studies in the year 2007 studying Plant Science and graduated in the year 2012. He served his beloved country in the year 2014 at Kogi State Lokoja.
Rifat Pasha has gained a lot of experience in Qur’anic aspects. He has been leading Tarawih prayers within and outside the country, with this, he copiously completes the whole Qur’an while leading prayers during the months of Ramadan from the year 2000 till date. He has been attending several Qur’anic competitions since 2005 at Local, State, National, and International levels and performed excellently. Miraculously, he won a hajj ticket in the year 2010 through a Qur’anic competition and was privileged to perform the last pillar of Islam in the same year with Al Hujaaj International Umrah and Hajj Services Ltd. He participated in several Qur’anic camping exercises in Lagos (between 2005 to 2012), Edo (between 2014 to 2017), and Borno ( in 2010 ) states. At Edo state camp, he was privileged to have been tutored by National and International judges one of whom is the longest-serving National Chief Judge Sheikh, Sadiq Siddeeq.
After the completion of his undergraduate studies in 2012, he served his teachers at Madrasat ul Tahfizul Qur’an by assisting them in tutoring students in the art of recitation and memorization of the Holy Qur’an for a year (2013). Thereafter, during his National Youth Service Corps at Lokoja Kogi State in 2014, he assisted in establishing a full memorization school at Al Azhar International College, Lokoja (between 2014 to 2016), by the special grace of Almighty Allah, his efforts were crowned with five students who completed their memorizations within the short period of time he spent there.
All these have been the source of motivation towards establishing a Qur’anic memorization school for the benefit of both young and adults who are determined to be a custodian of the Holy Qur’an.
He is happily married and blessed with kids.
